Ideas Are King Again (Thanks to AI)
The world as we know it has changed.
And I’m not talking about a horse and carriage to steam engine type of change.
If you’re thinking Artificial Intelligence (AI), you are spot on.
In the last 3 years, we've seen significant developments in the world of AI.
From large language models that you chat with to models that generate studio-quality photos and videos on demand.
Now we are in the world of agents that can complete tasks from start to finish, such as reaching out to a potential customer, pitching a sale, confirming contract details, or booking appointments.
These advancements in technology mean Ideas are once again King!
In the past, ideas were just that. Anyone could and can dream up any grand idea.
But the challenge was execution. Building has historically been more challenging than dreaming.
Until now.
Now you can go from idea to working prototype in less than 15 minutes.
Now you can create the draft for a report in 2 minutes with a full outline and sections.
AI has leveled the playing field, and now the quality of Ideas can be the difference between a successful business and a struggling one.
Also in this new world, authenticity is a superpower.
With the rise in AI-generated content, originality and authenticity are the hallmark of products, services, content, etc that cut through the noise.
Now I’m not saying AI is at all perfect. For instance, see the example below:
In all fairness, this was sometime in 2024, and the technology has significantly improved.
Answers and responses can still be very wrong. And there are significant concerns around data, intellectual property, environmental impact, and other things.
But whether or not you decide to tag along on this journey, this train will leave the station.
In a nutshell, get on the AI train (in whatever capacity) and use it to improve whatever it is you are currently doing.
And please don’t use AI to decide on important life-changing decisions. It's a tool like any other.
