Not Every Week Feels Inspiring
This week’s podcast episode was really difficult!
Not because I didn’t know it had to be done.
Not because I don't enjoy the process (I really do!).
Not because I lack passion about the vision God has placed on our hearts for the many roads.
In all honesty, I felt uninspired.
Really? That's it?
Yes!
And in hindsight, it was because for a couple of weeks, I had been experimenting.
Trying out different strategies, tactics, and ideas to grow the many roads podcast.
The results were unexpectedly underwhelming - not what I'd hoped for.
Talk about frustrating and disappointing.
I didn’t realize how much I had internalized said results until it came time to record again.
Eventually, I'd search through my idea bank and find one that inspired me to record.
Most people talk about how you must keep going, how showing up is important, and how consistency is key.
I don’t disagree.
However, in highlighting that importance, they downplay the moments where motivation and inspiration are lacking.
Truth is, I’m guilty of doing this as well.
Today, I want to hold space for anyone who is going through the motions.
I want to take the time to encourage anyone who is feeling uninspired.
Or maybe just tired.
Tired of the routine, the continuous effort… whatever it might be!
All I can say to you is that even though it is difficult now, you have to keep going.
It might feel like there’s no way out, but that’s far from the truth.
Breathe.........
Take some time off! Take some time away!
Do something totally unrelated and/or out of the norm.
Showing up is important, but knowing how to keep showing up on the days when you don’t feel like it is equally important.
Never be afraid to feel like giving up.
Just don’t give up!
